There are basically 6 modules in KEY.

  1. Isolation points module: Module where all panels and machines in your factory can be defined and QR code barcodes can be created for these isolation points. Under this module, the relationship between the equipment that can be installed at the relevant isolation point is established. In this way, the mistake of installing the wrong equipment at the isolation point is prevented.

When the personnel who will perform the maintenance goes to the isolation point, they can only see the appropriate equipment they can use and install the correct equipment.

Again, the coordinates of the isolation points are recorded under this module. In large facilities, all isolation points can be shown on the map (Google map, Yandex etc.). It can be seen from a bird's eye view which isolation points the equipment is installed and which is not.

  2. Equipment module: The module where the equipment used to secure the isolation points is recorded with their photographs. Again, this module will include illustrated and video usage examples for the registered equipment.

  3. Application module: This is the module used during the installation and removal of the equipment at the isolation point.
    a) Maintenance personnel goes to the isolation point, scans the QR barcode from the application or selects the isolation point they will lock,
    b) The list of equipment they can install at the isolation point appears in front of them, and they see the equipment they will use while locking,
    c) The system automatically assigns the date and time that the maintenance will start as the current date and time,
    d) It selects the -estimated- date and time that the maintenance will end,
    e) The information of the person who will perform the maintenance is taken from the current user. If more than one person will perform the process, those people can also be selected under the job.
    f) The "Start New Job" button is pressed. After this stage, the selected equipment is connected to that isolation point.

    When the estimated date and time of the maintenance is reached, if the equipment has not been removed from the isolation point, an SMS or e-mail is sent to the specified persons (Maintenance manager, OHS manager). The reason for this is;
    a) The maintenance personnel gave the estimated maintenance time without thinking, they need to be warned.
    b) The maintenance personnel performed the maintenance but forgot to remove the equipment, they need to be reminded.
    c) The maintenance personnel is waiting for parts, they need to update the estimated maintenance end time.
    d) The maintenance has been extended due to unforeseen reasons, they need to update the estimated maintenance end time again.

After the maintenance is completed, the equipment is removed, the relevant record is accessed through our software and the “End Job” button is pressed. After this process, the equipment is idle and energy can be given to the isolation point.

Our application can be integrated with your existing ERP application. When you want to close the maintenance record opened in your ERP application, it first checks our KEY application and checks if the “End Job” button has been pressed. If it is not printed, a warning message will appear in your ERP application "You cannot close the maintenance record because the EKED equipment has not been removed!" This ensures consistency between the system and real life.

  4. Reporting module:
    a) A bird's eye view of all isolation points with a dashboard.
    b) History of the selected isolation point; How many times has it been closed, which equipment has been installed, by whom, etc.
    c) Performance reports of maintenance personnel.

  5. Orientation and Training module: A short orientation on lockout tagout equipment can be given to new personnel here. You can also manage the EKED trainings you organize within the company from this module.

  6. Procedure and Instruction module: You can manage the lockout tagout procedures and instructions you will apply within your company here.
